Getting started

How can I track all my investments in one place?

Connect supported brokerages, exchanges, banks and public blockchain wallets to Fillfolio, then add supported holdings manually where a connection is unavailable. Your portfolio brings the available data together while retaining account and source details. Support depends on your plan, institution and asset; coverage warnings identify incomplete data.

Can I use Fillfolio without connecting financial accounts?

Yes. You can create manual accounts and record supported holdings, transactions, cash and liabilities without linking an institution. Keep those records up to date yourself, including purchases, sales and cash movements. Fillfolio cannot reconstruct missing account history from a manually entered holding.

How is net worth different from investment value?

Investment value describes your tracked holdings. Net worth also accounts for tracked cash and subtracts liabilities such as supported credit-card debt. Fillfolio shows the sources behind these figures. The result covers the records and supported connections you have added, not assets or debts you have never recorded.

Can I track investments in different currencies?

Yes. Fillfolio can report supported holdings, cash and liabilities in a selected reporting currency while preserving original amounts and currency codes. This is a reporting conversion, not a currency exchange. If a required exchange rate is unavailable, the affected converted value and dependent total remain unavailable.

Connections

How do I check whether my bank, brokerage or exchange is supported?

Check the connection directories, then review the accounts offered during authorization. A listed institution does not guarantee every account type will connect. Availability can change with country, institution, permissions, authentication requirements and maintenance. Bank connections require ULTRA or HYPER and cover eligible institutions in the United States and Canada.

Does Fillfolio retrieve bank transaction history?

No. Fillfolio retrieves account metadata and balances for bank connections, not bank transaction history. A connection may be initialized with a Transactions permission to maintain account data, but Fillfolio does not call transaction-history endpoints. Bank purchases, transfers, and statement history therefore do not appear in Transactions.

Which crypto wallets and public addresses can I track?

Choose a supported network and enter a supported public address. Bitcoin also supports eligible extended public keys with bounded address discovery. Some networks provide native balances only; others include recognized token balances. Review the network page and import preview for coverage. Never enter a private key or seed phrase: tracking does not require signing or spending access.

What do brokerage connections include?

Supported positions and account cash, plus cost basis and activity where available. Activity history can be incomplete, including at Fidelity; positions and cash do not establish a complete ledger. Coverage can change by institution, account type, permissions, and connection-provider maintenance.

Values and updates

How often does my portfolio update?

Account imports follow the supported schedule for each connection. Eligible manual refreshes use your plan's monthly credits. Market quotes have their own timestamps, and requesting a refresh does not guarantee newly retrieved institution data. Check each connection's import status and coverage. Manual records need your updates; a Google Sheets sync exports available Fillfolio data rather than refreshing every provider.

How do missing exchange rates and partial wallet totals differ?

A missing exchange rate prevents a required currency conversion, so the affected converted value and dependent total are unavailable. A wallet may instead have balances excluded because their asset identity or price cannot be verified. In that case, totals include available priced holdings only and show an incomplete-coverage warning. Unsupported tokens stay excluded until an exact supported match is available.

Why can a price change be available when my return is unavailable?

A market price change compares quotes over a stated period. Your personal profit or loss also needs reliable purchase costs or cost basis. A holding can have a current value while its return remains unavailable because those costs are missing. Fillfolio keeps unavailable returns explicit instead of treating missing cost basis as zero.

What does incomplete manual cash history mean?

Recorded manual purchases or withdrawals can exceed recorded deposits and other cash inflows. Fillfolio retains your transactions and holdings but marks affected cash and net-worth coverage incomplete. Review that account's cash history and record or correct the missing movements. It does not invent a deposit or infer borrowing. Provider-reported negative brokerage cash is handled separately as debt.

Plans and billing

Which Fillfolio plan do I need?

Choose PRO for supported investment and wallet tracking, ULTRA for bank balances and credit-card debt as well, or HYPER for higher connection and refresh allowances. Subscriptions are paid, with monthly and annual billing options; review current prices and limits on Pricing. The browser extension's limited public exact-ticker price lookup works without a paid account. Personal portfolio access requires an eligible active account.

When do refresh credits reset?

Manual brokerage, wallet, and live bank balance refresh allowances are credits per month. They reset at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each calendar month, independently of monthly or annual subscription billing. Scheduled updates follow each connection's supported refresh schedule; they are separate from these manual refresh credits. A refresh does not guarantee that an institution has new data available.

What will I pay when I upgrade?

Fillfolio shows a prorated upgrade quote before confirmation. The amount depends on your existing paid period, the new plan, and applicable tax; review the amount due now and the next renewal price before upgrading. Higher plan access begins after payment is confirmed.

What happens when I cancel?

Cancel renewal through the Customer Portal in Billing. You keep paid access until the confirmed paid-through date. After that date, paid connections and integration access stop and connections are removed. Manual records remain available according to the account's access and retention rules. Cancellation does not itself issue a refund; the Refund policy explains eligibility.

Security and privacy

Can Fillfolio trade or move my money?

No. Fillfolio provides read-only tracking and does not place orders, transfer funds, take custody or sign wallet transactions. Connecting an institution authorizes the supported data access shown in its consent flow. Wallet tracking uses public addresses or supported extended public keys, never private keys or seed phrases.

How do I disconnect accounts or revoke integration access?

Remove financial connections from Accounts & imports and manage client authorizations in Settings. Sheets and the browser extension also have Disconnect controls. Revocation stops future authorized access; reconnecting requires a new authorization. It does not erase files, spreadsheet cells or chat responses you already exported to another service.

Does Privacy Mode hide values in downloads and Google Sheets?

No. Privacy Mode hides values in Fillfolio's visible interface; downloads and Google Sheets reports contain full financial values for calculations and analysis. Review the export disclosure and share files carefully. Disconnecting a client does not remove existing exports, spreadsheet copies or version history.

How do I delete my Fillfolio account?

Open Settings and use the account-management deletion flow, then review and complete its confirmation. Deletion revokes account access and starts billing and connection cleanup. Some records may be retained where required by the Privacy policy or law. Deleting Fillfolio does not delete your Google account or copies you previously exported. Contact support if you cannot access the account.

Exports and integrations

How do I set up and refresh the spreadsheet?

Install Fillfolio - Portfolio Net Worth Tracker from Google Workspace Marketplace. Open its sidebar in your spreadsheet, connect Fillfolio, and approve the connection within ten minutes. Choose your scope, then click Sync to this sheet. Sync is manual and one-way: spreadsheet edits never write back to Fillfolio. There is no scheduled refresh.

Can I download my portfolio for Excel or another tool?

Yes. Eligible accounts can download the available XLSX, CSV and ZIP reports from Export, using supported portfolio scopes or saved views. Reports preserve source and currency context and include coverage notes where data is incomplete. They are snapshots of available data, not a live Excel connection, and contain full financial values even when Privacy Mode is on.

How can I see my holdings while researching a stock online?

Install the Fillfolio browser extension and select an exact ticker such as MSFT on a webpage to open its price card. Connect an active paid account to see matching personal holdings and use the separate toolbar portfolio dashboard. Choose the correct asset when a ticker is ambiguous. Company-name recognition is not supported. Use the privacy control to show or hide personal values.

Can I ask an AI assistant about my actual Fillfolio portfolio?

Yes, through a compatible client with an approved Fillfolio MCP connection and eligible paid access. After sign-in and authorization, the client can read available portfolio data within its permissions. It cannot trade, move money, change holdings or refresh providers. Client availability depends on the AI service's account and workspace settings. Sheets installation does not authorize AI access.
