Portfolio Overview
Portfolio value, allocation and account sources from the last exported snapshot.
Google Data Studio
Use the Fillfolio Google Sheets add-on to sync your current spreadsheet when you choose. Then explore the exported portfolio snapshot, spending summaries and monthly budgets in Google Data Studio.
The combined report requires portfolio access, an eligible Spending & Budgets plan, and separate Spending export permission for this spreadsheet. The add-on writes full financial values into it, even when Fillfolio Privacy Mode hides them in the app. Anyone with access to the Sheet can see those values.
One-way, manual sync to the current spreadsheet. Data Studio reads its reporting worksheets; it does not connect to Fillfolio or your bank. Edits in either place do not change Fillfolio data.
Sample report
This on-page preview uses synthetic values. Your report copy reads your own spreadsheet after you run Sync all.

The real report has Investments, Sources & Freshness, Spending and Budgets pages. It shows coverage and missing values where Fillfolio cannot provide a complete number.
Inside the report
The report keeps original currencies separate. A chart that compares monetary amounts uses a single currency; tables show the currency beside every amount. No conversion is inferred.
Portfolio value, allocation and account sources from the last exported snapshot.
Positions and allocation, with source and asset labels kept visible.
Coverage and separate timestamps for the source reads and workbook sync.
Cash flow and category or budget-group summaries for the spending scope you selected.
Limits and actuals for one full calendar month across spending-enabled accounts.
Set up
Keep your own analysis, formulas and notes on separate sheets. Data Studio reads each entire Studio worksheet, including cells outside the add-on's managed range.
Check eligible plansOpen the Fillfolio add-on in the spreadsheet you want to use. Connect your portfolio and approve that spreadsheet. On an eligible Spending & Budgets plan, grant its separate export permission for the same spreadsheet.
Opt in to report-ready worksheets, choose your spending period and filters plus a separate budget month, then select Sync all for Data Studio. Wait for the completed publication time before opening the report.
Select Create Data Studio report in the add-on. Check that all nine data sources use worksheets in your spreadsheet, then save a private copy with Viewer’s Credentials on each source.
Use Viewer's Credentials for each Data Studio source. Every report viewer then needs access to the underlying Google Sheet. Check both the report and spreadsheet sharing lists before inviting someone. Disconnecting Fillfolio stops future syncs; it does not erase values already in your Sheet, report copy or Sheet version history.
Portfolio and Spending can have different source-read times. The workbook shows when the combined sync finished, while Data Studio can cache its own copy of the Sheet. Refreshing the report does not fetch new bank data or run the Fillfolio sync.
Spending filters affect spending summaries. Budget actuals cover the selected full calendar month across spending-enabled accounts, so they can differ from a custom spending period. The add-on shows missing history and unavailable values where the stored data cannot support a complete number. Your Bank Transactions sheet remains available for individual records; the report uses summaries.
Troubleshooting
Check your plan, the separate Spending export permission for this spreadsheet, whether a supported spending-enabled bank has stored data, and whether you created budgets. Spending uses the period and filters you selected. Budgets use the selected full calendar month across spending-enabled accounts.
Run Sync all for Data Studio again in this spreadsheet and check its completed publication time. Portfolio and Spending have separate source-read times, and Data Studio caches Google Sheets data. Refreshing the report does not sync Fillfolio or refresh a bank.
With Viewer’s Credentials, each viewer needs access to both the report and its underlying Google Sheet. Check sharing on both, then check that every copied data source points to your spreadsheet. Avoid Owner’s Credentials, which can expose report data to people without Sheet access.
Use Recover reports in the add-on before another sync. It restores the previous complete managed snapshot. A report refreshed during publication can show a mix of worksheet versions; use the last completed publication time as your reference.
The five-page native report uses a Responsive layout. You can read labels, currencies, coverage, and freshness times in its compact tables at normal phone zoom.
